Threads — Meta's text-and-media platform — has grown rapidly since launch. But like Instagram, it offers no native download button for photos and videos. SKToolkit fills that gap, letting you save any public Threads post to your device instantly.
How to Get a Threads Post URL
- 1Open the Threads app or threads.net in your browser.
- 2Find the post with the photo or video you want to save.
- 3Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on the post.
- 4Select 'Copy link' — this copies the full post URL.
How to Download the Media
- 1Go to sktoolkit.com.
- 2Paste the Threads post URL into the input box.
- 3Click 'Capture & Download'.
- 4All photos and videos from that post will appear — download each one individually.
Tip: Threads posts can contain multiple images. SKToolkit will show all of them so you can download whichever ones you want.
Supported Threads URL Formats
- threads.net/@username/post/POSTID
- threads.com/@username/post/POSTID
- Direct share links from the Threads app
What About Private Threads Accounts?
SKToolkit only works with public Threads posts. If an account is private or the post has been deleted, the download will not work. This is by design — we respect user privacy settings.
Video Quality
Threads videos are downloaded in the original quality as stored by Meta's servers. This is typically the same quality you see when watching the video in the app.
Download Threads media right now — no account needed.
